Ship certificates and maintenance, logged from the crew's phone.
eShipma reminds you before a certificate expires and before a maintenance job is late. Crew log work on board, even without signal. The office sees every vessel on one screen.

What often happens
- One expired certificate can keep a ship in port.
- Maintenance schedules in Excel rarely get filled in from the ship.
- The office finds out something is overdue only at the survey.
Features
Certificates
Know which certificates are about to expire, well before the date.
Every certificate has an expiry date, an endorsement date and a PIC. Before the deadline it turns amber and the PIC gets a notification on their phone. Once it has passed, it turns red.
Indonesian certificate templates
Name, issuer and usual validity are already filled in. Pick the ones your vessel holds, then enter the number and dates.
Renew and endorse
The new number and dates are recorded. The old ones stay in the history, with PNBP, agent and transport costs.
Certificate scans
A photo or PDF of the certificate is kept with it and opens on a phone during an inspection.
Some of the templates included
- Surat Laut
- Surat Ukur
- Load Line
- Safety Construction
- Safety Equipment
- Safety Radio
- IOPP
- ISPP
- Safe Manning
- DOC
- SMC
- ISSC

21 Indonesian certificate templates are ready to use.

Planned maintenance
A maintenance schedule that gets filled in from the ship.
Every job has an interval in running hours, days, or both. Crew see their own task list, most overdue first.
Running hours
Running hours for every engine on a vessel go in on one screen. Hour-based jobs use them to work out the due date.
Done, with photos
A job is marked done with the date, running hours, notes, cost and up to 5 photos. The Nakhoda or KKM then approves it.
Routines
Daily or weekly checks, such as an engine room check, are ticked off once checked.
Due dates for hour-based jobs are worked out from the last 30 days of engine use.

On board without signal
Keep logging in the middle of the sea.
Records made without signal are kept on the phone and marked "Waiting for signal". As soon as the phone has signal, they are sent on their own.
What you can log without signal
Completed jobs with their photos, routine checks and running hours.
What you can view without signal
Pages opened before while there was signal, with a note of when the data was last fetched.
Records stay on the phone, even when the app is closed, until they are sent.

For the office
Every vessel on one screen.
The dashboard shows each vessel's compliance percentage, jobs that are overdue or due soon, and certificates that need attention.
Print-ready reports
A status report per vessel and work orders can be printed or saved as PDF, for meetings or for surveys and inspections.
Activity log
Who changed what and when is recorded. Cancelled records stay in the history with the reason.
Spare parts
Stock per vessel and in the warehouse. Parts used on a completed job come off the stock, and low stock shows up in the notifications.
Crew
Crew on board, sign-on and sign-off, and seafarer documents with their expiry dates.
Every change is recorded with the name of the person who made it.

Everyone sees their part.
Access follows how a ship is run. Crew see only the vessels they serve on.
Office / Superintendent
Every vessel, crew accounts, data import and reports.
Nakhoda (Master)
Schedules, certificates and routines of their vessel. Approves the crew's work.
KKM (Chief Engineer)
Same as the Nakhoda for their vessel, plus spare parts.

Frequently asked questions
Is it Android only?
No. eShipma runs in the phone's browser, on Android and iPhone, and can be added to the home screen like a normal app. The office can use a laptop.
What kind of phone is needed?
One whose browser still gets updates (Chrome or Safari). It doesn't need to be a new phone.
Does it always need signal?
No. Signal is needed to log in the first time and to open a page for the first time. After that, jobs, running hours and routine checks can be logged without signal. Changing certificate data needs signal.
How long until we can use it?
It depends on the number of vessels and the shape of your data. Send us what you have and we'll give you an estimate before we start.
Can we get our data out?
Yes. A status report per vessel can be saved as PDF at any time. If you stop, we hand over all your vessel data as Excel files.
Does it work for vessels without class?
Yes. The certificate list and maintenance schedule follow your vessel. Templates that don't apply simply aren't used.
What if a crew member moves to another ship?
The office moves their access to the new vessel. Their tasks on the old vessel are released so they can go to the replacement, and their work history is kept.
Who can see our data?
Only accounts created for your company, according to their role. Crew see only the vessels they serve on.
See eShipma with your own vessel data.
Tell us about your fleet and we'll show you how it works.
